Door Frames
All Steel’s hollow metal door frames are engineered and manufactured for use in high frequency openings located in commercial, industrial and institutional projects.
Frames
- 18, 16, 14 and 12 gauge
- Full face welded or 3 piece knockdown
- Single back bend or drywall return
- Mortised, reinforced, drilled and tapped for 4 1/2″ standard template hinge and 4 7/8″ standard strike
- Strike jambs prepared for 3 door silencers
- Sound transmission assemblies (STC) available
- Fire labelled from 3/4 hour to 3 hours
Frame Material Specifications
Standard coating
– Hot dipped galvanized steel (Galvanneal) to ASTM A653-B, coating A40 (ZF120), 0.40oz/ft2 (120g/m2)

– G90 (ZF275)

- AS Series – 16 gauge single return Standard Frame for 1-3/4” Doors
- DW3 Series – 16 or 18 gauge KD Double return Standard Frame for 1-3/4” Doors
